Solar Eclipse is a concept album that I originally composed largely between 1998 and 2000, using Impulse Tracker. At the time, I already enjoyed Jean-Michel Jarre's music and my original aim was to compose something akin to his grandiose concept albums.

I witnessed the total solar eclipse that occured on 11th August 1999 which influenced the later stages of the composition process.

In 2014, I started experimenting with re-arranging Solar Eclipse 1 to improve its sound quality using my current tools and skills and I liked the result enough that I ended up re-arranging the whole album.
